Sailing aboard the Rendezvous is no ordinary experience...
She's a 78-foot Brigantine schooner with towering 80 foot masts
that pierce the sky. Modeled after an early 19th century sailing
ship, her square rigged sails unfurl with the gentle grace of another
era. As Rendezvous sails by drawing glances from other boats nearby,
you feel you're a part of the most unique charter group on the bay.
Though Rendezvous looks like a vessel from an old
parchment map, her speed and agility is deceiving. Her history as
a pleasure yacht spans the globe, from exotic homeports in the Orient,
to tiny Polynesian coves. Built in 1933, Rendezvous was rescued
from flooding and years of wear, completely stripped and restored
to her former grandeur.
Below decks, hand-made mold ings, braces, and intricate
woodwork create an almost club-like setting. Mahogany, ash, rosewood,
and pecan blend with brass accents and velveteen cushions perfect
for an intimate dinner, or a corporate deal in the making.
